Textile Tantrums

I am obsessed with fibres, thread, cloth, paint and all things textiles! Unfortunately I am also a procrastinator extraodinarire who spends more time reading, surfing the net and admiring the materials than creating! I struggle to translate my ideas into textiles - hence the tantrums!

I'm so excited!!!

Don't know if any of you are subscribers to Maggie Grey's Workshop on the Web (WOW) but she has been collecting books to auction off for charity. Various embroiderers such as Dale Rollerson, Sherrill Kahn and Maggie herself have produced books for sale. I placed a bid for book no 12 (http://www.workshopontheweb.com/bookaid/bookaid.htm) and found out yesterday that I won! I've posted the cheque and am eagerly awaiting my tunnel book! Looks really interesting and can't wait to get it in my sweaty paws. It will be the first piece of art / textile related work that I own. I will post more pictures once I have it.

    Hia just ound your blog while hopping. Well doen you have some smashing work here. can you tell me about the lutrador stuff, have never heard of it! Sound interesting though.
